Located in the heart of Tehran’s historic center, a 5-minute walk from Topkhaneh Square, Pirouz Hotel is one of the oldest budget hotels in the capital. With over 40 years of experience, this one-star hotel offers 35 simple but clean rooms in three types: single, double and triple, all with metal beds with standard mattresses, clean blankets and old wooden wardrobes. The shared bathrooms, located at both ends of the corridors, are cleaned and disinfected three times a day and are reasonably clean.
The hotel’s small reception hall, with several wooden tables and chairs, serves a simple breakfast of fresh bread, local cheese, homemade jam and tea, served from 6 to 9 a.m. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby and hallways of the floors at medium speed and can meet guests’ basic communication needs. The exceptional location of the Pirouz Hotel allows for easy walking access to the Imam Khomeini Metro Station, the South Terminal, and several bus stops.
The hotel management, which has been operating in the area for over 20 years, has extensive knowledge of public transportation routes and inexpensive shopping malls in the area. The price per night for a stay at this hotel is approximately half the average price of similar hotels in central Tehran, making it the first choice for many budget travelers. Although amenities are limited, the relative cleanliness of the environment and the friendly attitude of the staff create pleasant memories of staying at one of the oldest hotels in Tehran.
