Traditional Residence Arghavan Ghazvin Ghazvin

The first-class traditional residence of Arghavan in Qazvin, originally known as the Yazdi House, was built in the late Qajar period and purchased by the Cultural Heritage Organization and registered in the list of national monuments. The Yazdi House belonged to Haj Abolghasem Yazdi and is located in the historical fabric of Qazvin near the Dolat Khaneh area, Saad al-Saltaneh Caravanserai, and Gozar Salehiyeh. Qazvin, the capital of Iran during the Safavid era, is considered one of the most beautiful places in Iran due to its museums, churches, old markets, and numerous and beautiful historical monuments and buildings. Qazvin ranks first in Iran in terms of the number of historical monuments. There are so many sights in Qazvin that it has had many nicknames throughout history, including the Gate of Paradise, Baghshahr, and Dar al-Saltaneh. The Yazdi House was handed over to a residential unit for renovation and operation in 2020, and was officially opened in March 2011 under the name of Arghavan Traditional Residence.
